Social Media Design for Open Education and Next U
Client: Open Education
Scope: Social content strategy, visual branding, engagement design
Worked as an in-house designer in a fast-paced startup environment, collaborating with a cross-functional team of writers, marketers, and designers to shape the visual identity of two major e-learning brands: Open Education and Next U.

At Open Education, I focused on creating social media content and marketing visuals for educational content, promotional campaigns, and brand storytelling. The goal was to drive engagement, reinforce trust, and maintain a consistent brand presence across platforms.

At Next U—a leading EdTech company serving the Latin American market—I contributed to multilingual content creation by designing Portuguese-language assets for the Brazilian market. This included adapting visuals to fit regional context while aligning with the company’s mission to equip learners with future-ready technical skills.

My work played a role in expanding the brand’s digital reach and making educational content more accessible and culturally relevant to a broader audience.
Educational Content That Informed and Inspired
At Open Education, I developed social media assets that brought educational content to life—transforming complex topics into engaging visuals that connected with learners. These designs supported blog features, bite-sized lessons, and community-driven posts, helping to position the brand as a valuable and approachable resource in the online learning space.
Campaign Visuals That Captured Attention
In addition to organic content, I created marketing visuals for course promotions, seasonal pushes, and paid social ads. These designs were crafted to convert—aligning with platform best practices and digital strategy goals to increase enrollment, boost visibility, and support content marketing efforts across channels.
Regionally Adapted Content for Next U’s Brazilian Market
At Next U, I contributed to the company’s expansion into the Brazilian market by designing Portuguese-language assets for social media. The visuals were tailored to reflect regional language, culture, and tone, ensuring that the brand’s educational message resonated with local audiences. This work supported the company’s mission to deliver future-ready skills across Latin America in an inclusive, engaging way.
